A few notes short of a chord

I'm taking a page from a friend's blog.

I deal with the public at work, see all kinds of people. I do not intend to pass judgment on people, it just happens. Some days it breaks the tension when staff members hide in the lounge and secretly compare notes about certain people we have just encountered. Our comments might include descriptions such as "his elevator doesn't go all the way to the top". We have compiled a short list of derogatory descriptions such as this. "He's not the brightest bulb on the marquee" is one. "Not the sharpest knife in the drawer".

Anyone have additions to my list?

Granted, this is not an exercise in uplifting and edifying anyone. Just good old fashioned humor.
